This section is oriented to the study, the design, the optmization and the test of artificial sensor systems, and adaptive systems for learning and control.
In particular the following items are explored:
data acquisition, treatment and trasmission of physical, chemical and biological quantities;
- Data analysis and processing with analog and digital techniques, neural networks, and adaptive systems;
- Design and test of non-linear and adaptive learning systems for control;
- Materials and technologies for innovative sensors;
- Sensitive properties of molecular films and self-assembling molecular structures.
- Design of measurement systems for physical, chemical and biological quantities
- Applications of sensor and learning systems to the medical diagnosis, the environmental control, the analysis of food, and the control of industrial processes
